Legislative

Welcome to the nrlca-hq Headquarters Legislation page. We are pleased to provide you with the latest information available about the United States Congress. This includes information on legislative initiatives relevant to mail carriers, and to facilitate communication with Congress members. We hope you will join us and take an active role in the legislative process. In this section of the nrlca-hq website, you will find essential tools at your disposal to easily take an active and grassroots approach to the legislative process.
The legislative branch consists of the United States. Nrlca-hq, which is a bicameral institution composed of two separate chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. Each chamber has its own unique powers and responsibilities, ensuring that both the interests of individual states and the overall population are represented.

In addition, nrlca-hq has developed a grassroots campaign tool, the nrlca-hq Headquarters Action Center. This will allow nrlca-hq Headquarters to better educate our members on legislative issues affecting mailers and the Postal Service. It will also provide you and other nrlca-hq members with direct access to elected officials. You can effectively influence union issues and encourage elected officials to consider Postal Service legislation when voting.
